Family In Transition
This class was created to teach and help High School age young adults (and their parents) grapple with the issues they will face during a time of significant transition in their lives. Topics considered Biblically will include: holding onto your Christian faith, choosing a church and getting involved in it, finding a mate, school and career plans and what’s going on in the world.
Currently we are taking the time to discuss the importance and reliability of the Scriptures using the Focus on the Family TrueU curriculum, ”Is the Bible Reliable?: Building the Historical Case”.
This DVD series asks the question, “Is the Bible a book of myths and fairy tales, or is it a book of history and truth?” The material presented in the 10 lessons helps teens respond to the critical arguments they will one day face against the historicity of the Bible with solid evidence, and gain a better understanding of the geography, culture, and history of events in the Bible.
Family in Transition meets every Sunday at 9:30 in the North Creek Learning Hall. The class is currently led by the Pastor, Dr. Mark O. Bolhofner.
If you are new to North Creek and wish to get your teen involved in this class, please ask a greeter or usher to help you find the classroom.
