Family Connection
Mighty Acts of God: A Family Bible Story Book At North Creek, we believe that the responsiblilty of raising and teaching children in the matters of our Christian faith is the primary responsibilty of parents. Therefore, we have decided to do Sunday School a little bit differently than most other churches.
We encourage parents and their children to meet together in order to model for young parents the manner in which they may go about instructing their young children during the week.
In Family Conneciton, children from birth through fifth grade and their parents are invited to gather together to enjoy a family education experience designed to model family worship/devotions at home. This class includes group singing, prayer, a study from the Mighty Acts of God: A Family Bible Story Book by Starr Meade a special activity or game to re-enforce the lesson and some decent coffee for the parents.
The whole experience is a wonderful time of learning and fellowship for the young and the not-so-young, as we strive build up our relationships with God and each other in keeping with our church mission.
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Learning Hall on the North Creek campus.
Related events throughout the year include a Children’s Chorus which regularly sings in 10:30 worship, family picnics, caroling, an Easter egg hunt, Summer Bible Adventure (VBS), game nights, community service events and more!
